(f2) In the book Theodore has to visit his uncle Ike like he does every week and lets just say he isn't very fond of him and doesn't understand why he cares about his grades etc. and in my opinion he try to have a good relationship with him because he never know when his uncle may go and the he'll realize how much he means to him taken from experience. I also think its cool Theodore was able to get his class to see part of the trial and that they get to see how the court life really is.
