Currently i am at the first 75 pages of the book. I recommend you to read it. You can read it without being an expert on the indigenous issues or human rights. It tells the story as a narrative of the events that have surrounded Rigoberta's life as a defender of her people.
I think that is great that the editors have preserved her writing style in a non perfect Spanish , which is a second idiom for her.
By the way if you don't know it yet Rigoberta Menchú is a winner of the Peace Noble Prize and she is a descendant of the Mayas
