This book was too dry. The constant repetition was tiring and the events were predictable. It was always "We found a clue, let's go!" and when they'd arrive they would realize they were wrong. Then they would end up interpreting the clue dead on. Every pitfall lead to the right answer. Irritating.

I found it too similar to "The Da Vinci Code" with the plot line and damsel in distress. Robert Langdon is too perfect. I know Dan Brown tried to give him minor flaws, but they don't make up for his "Mary-Sue" personality. Same with "girl-who-accompanies-him-and-wants-to-screw-him-while-being-fifeteen-years-younger."

Other than that, the book is alright. Couple of surprises here and there, but the book gets more credit than it deserves. The Da Vinci Code is a hundred times better.
