It's not fair to Folsom that I'm reading this right after Stephen King's "On Writing." But I'm tearing the book apart as I read. I told Meg, "I'm tempted to go through this with a red pen."

Great story, as usual for the King. Inspiring and not a little intimidating. I'm trying to adapt some of his ideas to making art. Most importantly: have a closed-door time to work every day. I've been working till noon with no phone or emails. it's pretty awesome.
I've been reading this book on and off for a few years. It's supposed to be heavy-science in layaepsk, but it's still pretty heavy. I hope to have it finished sometime in 2010.
SK intimidates regarding grammar skills. I need to freshen up. I'll be diving in to "The Elements of Style" too, methinks.
