This is my 3rd Dave eggars book. The underlying story behind these three stories is one of a creative person who's immense ambitions lie in the good. He is telling us a story that struck him deep. I don't follow much more about DE, besides novels, but he is easily an top tiered, current human of inspiration. I am somehow able to sift this from his work. This book described a world and situation I knew little of, through a relatable, louis ck inner battle like normalcy, mind of a struggler in the shit. DE cares about the struggle Valentino and many of the like have endured, and he wants us to care too. He makes me want to change the world, and read more historic novels.
