Really enjoyed reading this, especially the parts which, as a runner, I could really relate too. Really glad I read it.
I found this book so disappointing. I expected more than a vaguely disguised training manual. Where is the philosophy? Where is the insight? Where does he buy his runners? Next!
I'll be happy if running and I can grow old together. There may not seem to be much logic to it, but it's the life I've chosen for myself. Not that, at this late date, I have other options.
A good read. What he's talking when he's talking about running is of course his life and the decisions he has made. Which really makes it into a memoir but centered around an important activity of Murakamis life, running.
