Megan Callaway Interview with the Vampire

It took me a really long time to get into this book and I thought that, despite my interest in vampires, I wouldn't continue in the series. However, Louis' relationship with Armand really drew me in and I'm very excited to read what will happen next. Definitely a good book, but I'm not sure I would like the movie. Tom Cruise? I don't think so.

"You gave me your immortal kiss," she said, though not to me, but to herself. "You loved me with your vampire nature." "I love you with my human nature, if ever I had it," I said to her.

Ty Walsworth Interview with the Vampire

I read the Vampire Chronicles many years before I became a Christian. I am still compelled by the stories and the detail in which they written. I am torn by the the creative expression of this collection. After discovering that Anne Rice has converted to Christianity as well, I can not help but view this work as a personal benchmark.
