I was really excited to read this book and I had high hopes for it. Unfortunately, I just didn't get into it. Maybe Bernstein isn't a great storyteller or maybe I just didn't connect with any of the characters or events. I didn't realize that it was a memoir until about halfway through the book, which definitely changed how I was reading it. It was fine, but that's about it.
