I'm only on chapter 8 but I got hooked by the second page! This book is amazing, but, oh so disturbing. Not in your face disturbing, but, on a subtle level. It's hard to pinpoint how well the characters understand the atrocities being done to them. Unfortunately I can imagine humanity going down this route and no one stepping in to stop it. I fear this book is a grim foretelling of the future.
