Because Ruby is my favourite programming language, I thought I'd do it the honour of reading from the fountainhead. Advised reading for all Rubyists. Obviously, what page I'm 'on' is a sub-set of 'all the pages used as reference'.
Nice comprehensive guide - but most of the time the references to the origins (smalltalk, lisp, ..) are missing - this is so annoying.
Those 2 last chapters were not much fun, but I managed to get through.

Chapter 9: The Ruby API Not the most exciting, but very useful chapter...

Started the most advanced chapter... "Consider this chapter a kind of final exam: if you understand the examples (particularly the longer ones at the end), then you have mastered Ruby!
