it took me three months to get through the first half, and 24 hours to get through the second. it doesn't completely self-destruct and reinvent itself in the last 30 pages like i usually expect from H.M., but it was a pleaure to read, probably even more so had i 1) made more time to read it and 2) actually remembered the tiny details of A Wild Sheep Chase.
