Cathy Keyes Oryx and Crake

Mixed feelings. I'm not really a fan of dystopian novels. I find it all a bit depressing. That said, there was certainly food for though in there. I am a fan of Atwood's writing, and that would be true yet again of this book. I found the story line compelling for the most part but some of it, however true to life it may be, disgusted me. The characters, while interesting, weren't very likeable, and I found it very difficult to relate to any of them. I'm not a fan of open ended books either. And yet I finished the book and would continue to rate Atwood highly.
