Not pretentious in the least. Very straight-forward affair.
the most amazing novel, I've ever read, beside fiction it's loaded with art works, places, churches and details.
Very entertaining. It's fast-paced and perfect for light reading. The short sentences add to the frenetic pace. Really enjoyed it a lot.
I wasn't a huge fan of this book. It was a somewhat intriguing storyline, but overall, I found the pacing to be a little off, and the writing style left quite a bit to be desired.
