Martin Geber ▶ His Dark Materials Trilogy

When I saw "The Golden Compass" I knew I had to read all the books. And I'm glad, I did so. These books are nearly as good as Harry Potter (if not, they are equally great). I wasn't able to but this book away. The end of this series is hard to bear, but without a question perfectly fitting. All in all, the best novels I ever read about love.

To be honest, by the middle of the third book I wanted it all to be over. But nevertheless it was good writing and overall I liked all the books.

Maybe a bit too long. I read them back to back so maybe that was the problem. I loaned my brother the books (which means I probable won't get them back) so I can't really refer to specifics. I wasn't too interested in the doctor and the wheeled creatures so I guess that was part of it as well.
