Pretty good. Don't know if I'd give it a reread. I started out very skeptical as the narrative structure of this one is pretty much non-existent - but, at about the halfway mark, I cared enough about George and Howard (the principal characters) to push through to the finish. I did enjoy Harding's language, which has garnered much praise. The end is a very emotional moment. But, too much of it felt like the author flying by the seat of his pants. One big credit to him is the show of restraint with the novel's length - novella-length was about as much as this story could bear. Overall, I would recommend it, but not to everybody.
