Sunshine

The usually reliable Robin McKinley has written a vampire book. Hey, why not, everyone else seems to be.

It was okay. Slow with a lot of extraneous explanations and just not enough action. The whole idea of the plot was good, but she never really took it anywhere. I didn't feel there was much of a conclusion at all. Probably won't read much more by McKinley.

So far I'm really liking this book. My only complaint is that the author tends to go off on tangents explaining things right in the middle of the action. I'd rather she went through with the conversation or what's happening and explain later.

However, the world that has been created is intriguing and I got sucked (no pun intended) into the story right away.
