This was so inspiring, and very informative! I didn't expect to be glued to this book as I was. I came away with some very good affirmations in life, some ideas for the future, and a new perspective on life. No one starts a book expecting all that.

Was ALOT darker than I was expecting, and the pace was a little slow for me. I enjoyed it nonetheless... Not at all what I anticipated though.

Very touching, and makes me consider my own relationship with my mother: What regrets would I have? How can I look at her life and her actions differently to understand her and how much she loved me?

I love this book. I love the narrative and the wit of the characters, the pace at which the story is told and the leanness of the writing.

Very witty and engaging, provides a unique view on modern function of caste system in India. Does not ascribe any particular set of ethics or code of conduct; leaves reader to make own decisions about morality of main character.
