I am such a huge fan of this book. It is a definite must-read for anyone starting in design, especially those who are heading out into the freelance world. The stuff you see in here won't be stuff you are taught in school. It's real world stuff that Shaughnessy has come across through years of success and failures. So, so good.

What a horribly written book. The only reason it was entertaining was because I read it while backpacking through Europe, coming across many of the landmarks it described.

Agreed. The only thing I read that I was more disappointed with was The Kite Runner. That New York Times is full of it.

I haven't heard that about The Kite Runner. It wasn't on my to do list anyway.
