So far I'm disappointed in this book. Way too much backstory/filler to get to the chunk about viral loops, and then it's so high-level it's near fluff. I'm only about 1/3rd through, so I'm hoping it gets better, but while I'm usually really good at finishing books, this one has me seriously evaluating whether it's worth my time.
Probably just a problem of expectations; I was hoping for more nuts-and-bolts case studies to help me devise my own viral loops for my own projects, while this is more of an overview of the concept for people removed from the action.
(So far at least.)
