I hate to admit that I quit reading this book. One of my favorite books is Gone With The Wind. I was told that if I liked GWTW I would like Anna Karenina and War and Peace. I read about 3/4 of the book and had to quit. I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I wouldn't say it is bad book or tell people not to read it, I just didn't enjoy it. One of the main characters struggled with his love of farming and how society would laugh at him for enjoying a peasant chore. After 100 or so pages of that I started to lose interest.
