The author needs a better copy editor. It's a short book. There shouldn't be as many errors as there are. Loads of spelling, grammar and typographical errors. Annoying.
I read this for a media literacy class and was pretty surprised by the number ignorant errors made by the authors. From expanding the RSS acronym improperly (it stands for Really Simple Syndication) to sweeping generalizations of online audiences, I had a hard time staying engaged for all the blaring errors.
It's a collection of essays/papers from various people who use databases in art. Really good. I think it'd be up your alley.
