A guilty pleasure really. It comes with nice big type and small words, perfect for tired eyes and brain that needs a little light relief.
John added I Know You Got Soul to his library.

John added An Utterly Impartial History of Britain or 2000 Years of Upper-class Idiots in Charge to his library.
Find Will Self quite difficult to read normally, way too smart for me, but this one hooked me in instantly. Fascinating and funny.

Not so bothered by the story as such but drawn in by the sheer optimism and the almost religious belief that technology can fix all our ills.
John added 3001 The Final Odyssey to his library.
Right book, right time. I found this in a charity shop and bought it because I liked the cover. I was immensely moved by this book. I'd go as far to say as it changed me a little.

















Read this once, need to read it again seem to remember it being very entertaining.

I liked it as well; however, I thought it should have been titled Bad Things Always Happen to Really Smart People as it is far more about hideous things happening to the greatest scientists throughout history.
