I've read this a couple times, and this probably hands down one of my favorite little books ever. I think the fact that Lethem's interests growing up were so close to mine, made this super relatable and poignant for me. Plus he's from Brooklyn, so that alone makes him pretty amazing. DEFINITELY recommended!

I don't know if it's just where I'm at right now with starting to get into UI design, but I find John Maeda to be utterly freaking brilliant! I know that this focus primarily on product design and life system simplicication, but the topics he covers in here so far are mind-blowing. Can't wait to finish!

Amazing! A) I can't believe it took me 30 years to finally read this, and B) It was such a welcome read, especially given the stigma of intellectualism that can surround his work in conversation. I was so surprised to see that it was just a well written character study. And even more surprised to see it took place in the city I live in! Wonderful read that I'm sure will be read many times again in the years to come...
