Had high hopes from this book, especially considering the theme was right up my lane. But was kinda disappointed by the end. By the end of the book, you haven't connected to any character, not the plotline, nor have you learnt anything new about Russia!

It's obvious the author has taken experiences from his real life and contorted them in a slightly over-exaggerated manner leading to a story that is pretty hard to believe, especially because characters have random starts and random ends, and the plotline twists in weird manners!

Overall, the theme of the book is nice, but the execution leaves you wanting.... worth one read at best!

My rating: 3/5
