I've heard of people having trouble with using this as their initial introduction to Haskell. I already knew the language and have been playing with it for some years, so my perspective is different. As a large collection of realistic example code, including a fairly complex image processing example, it works very well for my purposes.

Didn't 100% agree with some of the stuff in here. A bit too categorical in places, but that's more a weakness in the Agile routine than this book in particular. Nice dense amount of information and presented reasonably intelligently. Picked up a bunch of ideas to work with.
