Octavia E. Butler awesome. I love these. It's just not right, not right at all and almost hurts. "Bloodchild and other Stories" was much like reading reading a sci-fi Oliver Sacks' "Antropologist on Mars"; the stories are interesting, horrifying, and embarassingly convinsing. I had a hard time reading right through them --another situation of putting all the curious flavors of the world in your cup at once. Go easy. One at a time.
