Awesome. It sometimes goes into deep detail, so you have to want to read it. But if you do, it's chuck full of information serious designers should understand to make a bigger impact with their designs.
A really good book about what it means to be happy from a lot of different perspectives. Be warned--it will make you want to travel.

It'll get you thinking philosophically about politics and economics. It was difficult to read for me and I think the author tried a little too hard to be witty... If you're a fan of politics and economics you should probably read this.

Several extremely important design lessons in this book. I had to stop reading and think a few times... Just never thought about things they way Chip and his teacher talked through ideas. But a warning - he has a wicked and almost disturbing sense of humor. One page you'll be laughing out loud and the next you might be a little freaked out.
If you're a designer I'd say you have to at least read the interludes after most of the chapters. They're brilliant.

I've read a lot of books and even taken some classes and courses on communicating better. This book still blew me away... It's definitely one I'm going to buy (I checked it out from library) and reread several times. A little too much to grasp and put into action all in one read.

A really interesting book about how irrational we are. But he explains it all in a way that's very rational... Irony? Some interesting tricks for designers if you're in the business of understanding how people interact with stuff.

Short. Sweet. And one of the best books about decision making I've ever read. How to be effective and efficient with your decisions is all up in.

Awesome book about getting on the right track with life! There are a lot of small exercises, so be prepared to work for it. I'd say it would be hard to read this book and not think of at least a few ways you can make your life more satisfying.
If we act to avoid a bad fate or reduce its chance of happening—and the action is worthwhile—then we should act and not worry. If, on the other hand, we can't control or influence what will happen, then worrying will cause us distress but not help us: we should not act and not worry. Worries will always arise but we can do without them, instantly deciding to act or not act, but either case not to worry.

You seen these share tools around much? Bottom of the page on this link: http://www.randomhouse.com/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780307396204 Probably how a lot of smaller publishers could get you "saving" or "shelfing" books on Readernaut... Just curious if you've seen a lot of them... PS. Hoping to get into some API action soon. Finally!

Wow. I don't know what the crap I was talking about. Apparently 6 months and 2 weeks ago I was on some bad drugs or something... Incoherent babbling!
