schtambul Hollywood Nocturnes

Ah, sweet pulpy nostalgia. This is funny, racy, bitter, and hard-knock the way (in MHO) Chuck Palahniuk's books aren't.

Much respect for what this writer has gone through (i followed the part of her story that made press only as deeply as the headlines). It's maybe somewhat mediocre of a read (as "political" books can be just a bit annoying). But it's interesting in that it challenges some basic popular assumptions. It also provides insight into some very diverse worlds. What really made this book worth while for me is how much it pissed me off at times ;)
