(IT1) The central idea of this book is about cars. The author Ricard Sutton is talking about the history and working of cars. The author is trying is to persuade us of the history of cars and how it has changed over time. It is telling us how cars have changed and has progressed of the years. One part of the book that is trying to let us read the book by putting sport car names on the cover of the book. Another example is that the author is trying to convince us of thinking that the horseless power cars was important and it was historic even though this was done already.
