I have never been more disappointed when a book ended. I suppose we can only hope for a sequel or two.

I give this book a big, huge "meh."

This book gets better when the tanks show up.

Wow, this book takes a really gory turn about 3/5s of the way through. I was wondering when it was going to come in, but there it was, like clockwork. Wonderful.

And then I saw the school my lady friend coaches at.

It took 139 pages of name dropping in this book for me to find someone I actually knew in real life. That is surprising. I only KIND OF expected to find someone I knew, I didn't really expect it. So it was surprising and not at the same time. God, this is a great book.
