It's really about halfway through (for me at least) that the whole thing starts to make sense (as much as any of it makes sense). At this point there are about 10 different sections of the first half that I want to go back and reread now that I feel like I sort of understand the structure and what's going on. It feels like reaching the top of the world's tallest rollercoaster and wanting to go back up the long, grinding hill again while you're already hurtling down the other side.
